Website – Port Scan

RapidSpikes Port Scanning checks the open and closed state of your services, it also, where possible identify the exact service running on the port using the latest fingerprinting technologies.

Here’s everything you can do on this page!

1) Add Port Scanning

The most simple process process on the Port Scanning page, to add Port scanning (if you don’t already have it) simply hit “+ADD MONITOR” in the top right hand corner. This will then launch a pop up giving you the option to either scan the ports of a Website or Service/Network Device.

2) View the Status of an existing Port Scan

At the top of the page will be the current status of the current, running, Port Scan. As always, Green indicates the scan is error free, pink indicates existing errors and grey indicates the scan is paused.

3) View Port Scan Records

Below the current status you can find a list of all the records associated with the Port Scan. These are sorted by Port number and list the current state, protocol, service and product tied to the port in question .

4) Change the data history displayed

Whether you want to see an overview for the last week or the last year – Simply hit the Clock button in the top right and use the drop down to select your preferred data history. This button will display the current data period so you know what its set to currently!
