Website – Web App Scans

Making sure your website is secure is just as important as making sure its performing! On this page you’ll be able to create vulnerability scans as well as view the status of existing ones. 

Here’s everything you can do on this page!

1) Creating a scan

As simple as creating any other monitor, Web App Vulnerability scans simply require a name, a description, how often you’d like to scan and the websites you’d like to scan. Each scan can do up to 20 URL’s at a time. To get started either hit “[+] ADD A SCAN” in the middle of the page or “+ ADD MONITOR” and follow the on screen prompts. 

2) View Latest Scan Results

Listed by severity, the “Last Scan Results” highlights every vulnerability found during the last scan. From this list you’ll be able to view more in-depth details of each vulnerability by hitting the “VIEW>” button associated with the vulnerability in question.

3) View and create Alerts

Alerts are the core of the RapidSpike system, finding out what your issues are as soon as they happen is crucial so we’ve made it easier than ever to create, view and edit alerts. To view these your existing alerts or to add new ones simply hit the “ALERTS” tab at the top of the page. From this page you’ll be add new Alert Rules by hitting “ALERT SETTINGS>” as well as view the existing rules associated to this monitor below.

4) Change the data history displayed

Whether you want to see data for the last week or the last year – Simply hit the Clock button in the top right and use the drop down to select your preferred data history. This button will display the current data period so you know what its set to currently!
