Website – WHOIS domain monitoring

RapidSpike provides a Domain Name Monitor to ensure that you are kept notified of the important information regarding your registered domain names and their associated whois records.

Here’s everything you can do on this page!

1) Add WHOIS

The most simple process process on the WHOIS page, to add the WHOIS monitoring (if you don’t already have it) simply hit “ENABLE WHOIS MONITOR” and the monitor will launch into a pending state. Shortly the monitor will run and the page will populate.

2) View the Status of your current WHOIS

At the top of the page will be the current status of the current, running, WHOIS monitor. This will give you the current state of the monitor (Green being fine, Pink having issue and grey being paused) and tell you the days remaining until the current domain is up for renewal.

3) View Domain Records

Below the current status you can find a list of all the records associated with the WHOIS monitor. This list covers creation and expiry date, the name-servers and registrar’s email.

4) Change the data history displayed

Whether you want to see data for the last week or the last year – Simply hit the Clock button in the top right and use the drop down to select your preferred data history. This button will display the current data period so you know what its set to currently!

5) Change general assurance settings

Reached from the settings cog in the top right hand corner. General assurance settings allow you to see the current check interval and either delete or pause/resume all existing assurance monitors.
